FAQ

HOW CAN I SEND YOU MY ARTWORK?

You can email copy of your artwork to us. Email is the preferred method to info@asappromo.co.uk. If you are ordering online, there is an artwork upload area during the personalisation process. Our preferred formats are vector files - EPS, AI or PDF with all text converted to outlines. Non vector files, such as JPEG, TIFF or PSD should be at 300dpi and at the required print size. Please try to keep e-mailed or uploaded artwork files under 15mb. We suggest using MailBigFile to send us files if they are bigger than 15mb.

Generally, the higher the resolution or dpi of the artwork or photo the easier it is to work from, especially artwork with fine details.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HINTS TO HELP ME WITH MY DESIGN?

Try to keep your embroidery designs as simple as possible. Intricate detail and lettering can be difficult to replicate exactly. Also, the best quality artwork helps us to replicate your designs to the highest quality possible. Very fine detail can be tricky to reproduce for embroidery or print.

CAN I USE DISNEY, SIMPSONS, WARNER BROS, ETC. CHARACTERS IN MY DESIGN?

No. We always refuse to infringe copyrighted and trademarked works. It is illegal and can result in heavy legal fees. Be original or please ask us for ideas if needed.

WHAT RESOLUTION ARTWORK DO YOU REQUIRE FOR DIFFERENT PERSONALISATIONS?

Low Resolution art: Is usually fine for embroidery designs (72 dpi) unless the design is very detailed or elaborate. A logo on a business card will often do for some designs but detailed logos will need to be better resolution.

High Resolution art: High Resolution art would be required for printing with a minimum of 300 dpi to get the best results. Generally, the higher the resolution or dpi of the artwork (or photo) the easier it is to work from, especially artwork with fine details.

DO I RECEIVE A PROOF BEFORE PRODUCTION?

Yes, we always send proofs for your approval before production unless your order is a repeat design.

Proofs are sent as PDFs via email. A delay in approving a design can affect the final delivery date.

CAN WE MIX THE ORDER IN TERMS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS, SIZES AND TYPES OF GARMENTS?

Yes, you can. You can mix polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts and any other garments in our range. You can also have as many different colours and sizes as you wish at no extra cost.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR LARGER ORDERS?

Please email us for enquiries of 20+ as we can sometimes use a different print method to save you money. The more garments you order, the cheaper the unit price will be.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRODUCTION TIMES?

Production time is normally around 5 to 7 working days (from payment and artwork approval) for print only or embroidery only orders; 7 to 10 working days for orders with print & embroidery. Please allow a little longer during peak times such as the build up to the end of term or the build up to Fresher's week. Also for garments that require personalied printed or embroidered names. If you need the garments for a particular date, please let us know and we will always try to meet your deadline.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Cancellations after payment and proof approval (within 48 hours) are subject to a £25 charge. At this stage production has already begun and is to cover us for the expenses of time, artwork processing and returning of stock. After 48 hours it's too late to cancel an order.
